The quality control of printed boards mainly focuses on the design, processing and inspection of printed boards, as well as monitoring and measurement.
1. Quality control in design stage
The quality management work in the design phase includes the following points.
(1) The project leader reviews the PCB design documents, performs relevant review procedures, and ensures the effectiveness of the design documents. The printed circuit board made according to the document can meet the functional and performance requirements of the equipment, otherwise, the design will be more excellent and waste paper pile.
(2) The project leader and technical personnel shall check the process requirements of PCB production to ensure the manufacturability of PCB. The technical requirements can be simply and directly published on the design drawings, and the contents can be written separately. No matter the process requirements are simple and complex, the correct, clear and neat process requirements shall be indicated. The reviewed technical requirements shall meet the production technology level at that time, be economical and cost-effective, and facilitate the subsequent assembly, adjustment, testing and other projects.
(3) The Standardization Engineer reviews the design of PCB test points, structural forms, overall dimensions, PCB layout, pads, vias, characters, etc. to ensure the testability and standardization of PCB, and try to meet the requirements of national standards, national military standards and industry standards.
